The 2.35:1 CineTheatre Experience
Not all home theatre experiences are equal. Over the last few years we've all heard a lot about widescreen, and a lot of people have upgraded from their old CRT TV to a new widescreen flat panel.
But have you noticed that when you watch a movie there are still
black bars on your screen?
That’s because even though it's called ‘widescreen’ there is an even wider screen format out there – enter Cinemascope, 2.35:1, Scope or as we like to call it CineTheatre.
CineTheatre is about truly watching movies as the director intended. That means on a screen that is 2.35 times as wide as it is high, and the images fill the whole screen, with no black bars.
Unreal. Unbelievable. Awesome.

The CineTheatre experience starts with a 16:9 home cinema projector, then you add a Cinemascope screen (much wider than a standard 16:9 screen); and an anamorphic lens. To really finish off the experience, add side masking and possibly even LP Morgan Club Lounge motorised recliners.
