CineTheatre Rondo
CineTheatre is a very particular way of watching movies. We like to think of it as the no compromise option. If you already have a 16:9 screen (or flat panel) you would have noticed that when you watch a movie made in cinemascope there are black bars above and below the image.
The CineTheatre experience is about getting rid of the black bars. Also known as a Constant Image Height system, the resulting image is as tall as your 16:9 screen, but 33% wider.
Most often the CineTheatre experience is created in a dedicated home theatre using a Galleria frame screen together with motorised masking, but you can also use a Rondo screen.

The key determinant in deciding what size roller screen to get is the 16:9 image height that suits the projection distance and your chosen projector.
We recommend Plana U for CineTheatre screens as it has a finer surface structure than Atrex, which will give you higher resolution images, however this may create some size limitations.
