start with a simple question :
Do you want the screen to hide away?  Yes
or 
Can it be on permanent display like a picture frame? Yes

Next step is to check the native aspect ratio of your projector – 4:3, 16:9 or 16:10, and match your screen to this.  In terms of size – twice the height as the minimum viewing distance is a good rule of thumb, but don’t forget to cross check the throw distance of your projector, and any other physical constraints.
